Cabo Rojo Salt Flats is part of the Fish and Wildlife Refuge. This area is classified as a Category 1 resource by the National Fish and Wildlife Service.

You can enjoy hiking, bike ridding, snorkeling, bird or butter fly with 25 species habituating the area, and a spectacular white sand bathing area near by (La Playuela).
